Provisional Outline

Goal: Describe invention, in enough detail, that "One skilled in the art could practice the invention".

Title

1st Section (Introduction)

What is the problem or what is wrong with the world? Or why does the world need your invention. (Motivation) Suggested length one sentence to one paragraph.

2nd Section (Description of the Invention)

Describe how to "practice the invention". How do you make the invention. If the invention is a series of steps, how do you practice the invention. Note we do not need a manufacturing specification or exact measurements or details. Provide an overall idea of how the device (process) will work.

3rd Section (Conclusion)

How does the invention solve the problem of the first section.

Hand sketched drawing of the invention that helps explain how it works. Not a mechanical drawing.
